How do I rent a dumpster?
Book online or call Blue Bin Dumpsters, choose available delivery and pickup dates, prepare the placement area, load accepted debris below the fill line, and contact the team for pickup.
How quickly can you deliver?
Same-day delivery may be available for orders placed before noon on operating days. The live banner at the top of the website shows the current ordering window.
Does Blue Bin fill the dumpsters?
We handle the driving and you handle the loading. Blue Bin Dumpsters delivers the bin to your site, you load it at your own pace during the rental period, and we haul it away when you are finished.
What size do I need?
The right size depends on your project, material, estimated volume, and available placement area. Blue Bin offers multiple dumpster sizes; call us or check online availability and we will help match the container to the job.
How long is the rental?
Our standard rental period is up to 7 days, with extensions available for $15 per day. For an early pickup, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
Do I need to be home?
You do not need to be on-site for drop-off or pickup as long as access to the placement area is completely clear and we have accurate placement instructions.
How steep can the driveway be?
Our experienced drivers can accommodate many sloped driveways. For safety, final placement is always subject to the driver’s assessment of the surface, clearance, and site conditions.
Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
We use protective barriers beneath the container and take care during placement and pickup. Tell us about any special access or surface concerns before delivery.
Can the truck drive on grass or sidewalks for placement?
We can place dumpsters on some lawn areas, but heavy equipment or the container may mark or damage grass. Any resulting lawn, sprinkler, sidewalk, or landscaping damage is at the customer’s risk. The driver makes the final safety decision.
Can the bin be placed in the street?
Rules vary by city. The customer is responsible for confirming that street placement is allowed and obtaining any required permit before delivery.
Does my HOA allow dumpsters?
Every HOA is different. Contact your HOA or property manager before delivery to confirm whether dumpsters are allowed and whether placement or time restrictions apply.
Can I move the bin by myself?
Please do not move the dumpster yourself. If you need it repositioned during your rental, give us a call and our team will safely move it for you for a small service charge.
What cannot go inside?
Tires, dirt, concrete, chemicals, animal remains, and medical waste are prohibited in standard bins. We offer specialized bins for dirt and concrete removal. Please call before loading any material you are unsure about.
How high can I fill it?
For driver safety and safe transit, all waste must remain below the top rim of the dumpster. Overfilled loads cannot be legally hauled and will be subject to a dry-run fee.
What is the weight limit?
Weight limits vary by dumpster and material type. Standard bins can generally be filled to the rim with ordinary waste, but heavy materials such as dirt, concrete, and sod require special handling. Please call before loading dense material.
What happens if someone else puts junk in my bin?
Customers are responsible for everything placed in the dumpster during the rental period. If you are concerned about neighbors or passersby using your bin, covering it with a securely fastened tarp can help discourage unauthorized use.
What happens if someone parks in front of the dumpster, even if I don't know who they are?
Street parking is entirely at the customer’s risk. You are responsible for ensuring clear, unobstructed access so our drivers can safely deliver and haul the bin on schedule. If our truck cannot complete a pickup or drop-off due to blocked access, overfilling, or an unready load, a $150 dry-run fee will apply.
What happens if it rains or snows?
Our dumpsters have built-in drainage holes to reduce standing water. Please keep the placement area accessible and free of snow or other obstacles before pickup.
What happens if I damage the dumpster?
Customers are responsible for any damage to the dumpster during the rental period and will be billed for necessary repairs or replacement costs.
What happens to waste once it has been hauled away?
We transport your load to a local transfer station where materials are processed for disposal and recycling.
How long does the final disposal invoice take?
The final disposal invoice is typically issued in about one day, but in some cases it can take up to one week.
Does my card get charged automatically for disposal?
A final invoice will be issued after project completion. If the invoice remains unpaid after 2 calendar days, the payment method on file will be processed automatically for the remaining balance.
